Instead of paying 20 cents for a 'certified compostable' cup that may go to landfill, we charge 20 cents to dishwash a cup making the transition cost neutral.

With Bins in a ROW, separate as you throw, this is what we do:

• R Recycling: Plastics are sent for recycling. Bottles and cans are taken in for 10 cent cash return.
• O Organics: 
  • Wet: Food waste is a source of nitrogen for Lakeside Drive Community Garden (LDCG) composters. 
  • Dry: Certified compostable packaging (including bioplastics) is shredded as a source of carbon for LDCG composters.
• W Waste is sent to landfill.

In Australia, our national goal is to reduce waste to landfill by 50% by 2030.

Dishwashing is our other expertise.

Wherever we live, we use dishes and cutlery, wash, dry and store for reuse.
